How payouts work
Basecomp uses Stripe Connect, which means ticket revenue is processed directly into your connected Stripe account. Basecomp's platform fee is deducted automatically at the time of each transaction.
Payment flow
- Customer purchases tickets — their card is charged via Stripe
- Basecomp's platform fee is deducted from the transaction
- The remaining amount is held in your Stripe account
- Stripe pays out to your bank account on your configured schedule (typically 2–7 days)
Payout schedule
The default payout frequency is set in your Stripe dashboard. You can choose daily, weekly, or monthly payouts. Log into dashboard.stripe.com and go to Payouts to adjust this.
Platform fees
Basecomp charges a percentage fee on each transaction. The exact rate depends on your subscription plan. You can view the fee breakdown for any transaction in Orders → [Order] → Payment Details.
Disputes and chargebacks
If a customer disputes a charge, Stripe will notify you via email and your Stripe dashboard. You have 7 days to respond with evidence. Basecomp stores order and ticket purchase records that can be used as dispute evidence.
